Everything went very well and Camden did great! The angioplasti was a success, I have loved all of the doctors that have worked with us here at Primary Childrens! I am going to explain the best I can what we can expect for Camden's future. His little valve is bicuspid still which means that instead of three leaflets there are only two. His blood flow through the valve isn't and probably will never be 100%, but after the angioplasti, it is a safe flow! He had gotten worse since Friday so we are glad we came in today and had this done! Every aortic stenosis patient is different so it is really hard to predict how Camden's will go. The surgery done today could last him the rest of his life although the chances of that are very, very slim. Chances are that he will have to have this done again within 5 or less years. As long as they can keep the valve from leaking alot we will be able to have angioplasti surgery done! Everyone's valves thicken over time and restrict flow to some degree. Camden's valve will get worse, the unknown is how fast it will get worse. It could be months or years. The chances are that eventually he will have to go through open heart surgery to either replace or repair the valve. Our first hope would be that he will never have to cross that bridge, however being realistic our real hope is that he can make it to atleast a teenager before having to go through open heart surgery. We know that this little angel was meant to come to our home, We know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for us and that things are going to be okay! We are so grateful for all of the prayers and we know that angels were watching over our litlle guy today!

Yeah! That's great news. I'm so glad the procedure today worked. I know the neighborhood has been praying for your little guy. You'll have to let me take Ashton and Bryton for some more play time. Noah had fun with them.

I just got caught up on your blog and had no idea this was going on! I am so glad Camden is doing okay and everything went well. His little pictures are so cute. He is so small, it broke my heart to think of him having surgery. I admire your strength and courage through this difficult time. Your family is in my prayers :)

Jill here, just letting you know that I think you are terrific! Camden could not have come to a better home, with more nurturing goodness than yours. And I am so glad his Dad doesn't have a broken crown. Let me know whenever you need a pail of water. Love Always and Forever your Sis

I don't mind at all, and I'm glad that your little guys surgery went well, my Mia also has a tricuspid valve issue, but hasn't needed surgery yet. Good to hear from you, long lost cousin (or is that me)?

Hey Crystal! I don't know you, but I think I was in your ward because you look so familiar. Anyways, a friend gave me your blog address. I'm so glad that everything went well in the cath lab. Which doctor(s) did the procedure? My daughter, Laurie, had her pulmonary valve ballooned open - Dr. Cowley and Dr. Gray were her cards and they were fantastic. Your little boy is adorable. I hope that you're able to bring him home soon!
